When women come together with purpose and compassion, extraordinary things happen. That’s exactly what we witnessed earlier this year at the Volusia County Women Who Care (VCWWC) 1st Quarter Meeting. Carol Kilian, a representative from Volusia Free Clinic, stood before our members and shared a pressing need: their clinic had outgrown its current location and they were in desperate need of a new space to continue serving the community. What happened next is a powerful testament to the spirit of collective giving and action that defines VCWWC. Inspired by Carol’s story, one of our members stepped forward with a solution—offering a donated 1,600-square-foot facility, rent-free for the next five years. Along with this generous gift came donated medical equipment to help outfit the new clinic. To further support their expansion, Volusia Free Clinic also received a $1,000 Community Partner Impact Grant, providing critical funding at just the right time. But the story doesn’t end there. When Carol returned to share the incredible updates at our 2nd Quarter Meeting, members were so moved by the impact that Volusia Free Clinic was selected as the 2nd Quarter grant recipient. They are now poised to receive more than $30,000 in member donations—an investment in health, hope, and healing for countless individuals in our community. Now, we invite all of you to celebrate this milestone!  Join us for the Ribbon Cutting and Check Presentation:  📅 Date: Thursday, July 17  🕒 Open House: 3:00 – 6:00 PM  🎀 Ribbon Cutting & Check Presentation: 4:30 PM  📍 Location: Volusia Free Clinic’s new home  (Daytona Beach Mayor Derrick Henry and other special guests will be joining us!) Come see firsthand what happens when women who care come together to change lives. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
