When We Come Together, Miracles Happen

August 31, 2025

Celebrate 8 Years Together

Eight years ago, a small circle of about 30 women gathered with a simple idea: if we each gave a little—and gave it together—we could do a lot. Today, VCWWC is a community of 300+ members, and our quarterly grants have grown from $3,000 to over $30,000. We’ve gone from funding one nonprofit each quarter to funding three (through the Community Partner Impact Fund), and we’ve established an endowment to sustain this work for the long run.

That’s the power of coming together around a common cause.

You’re invited: VCWWC 4th Quarter Meeting & 8th Anniversary

Please join us—and bring a friend—for our Q4 meeting and 8th Anniversary celebration. Thursday, November 13, 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Daytona State College, Mori Hosseini Center, 1200 International Speedway!

You’ll feel the energy in the room, meet the leaders behind three member-nominated nonprofits, and watch the power of collective giving unfold in real time as members vote to direct this quarter’s grant. Thanks to our Community Partner Impact Fund (CPIF), the two organizations not selected by vote also receive sustaining grants—so every presenter leaves supported.

What happens in the room

  • Connection: Conversations spark partnerships; introductions open doors.
  • Leverage: $100 at a time becomes a transformative grant.
  • Impact: Lives are touched, changed, and sometimes even saved.
  • Momentum: Needs are named, resources appear, and solutions take shape—often before the night is over.

It’s not an exaggeration to say that what happens together in one evening can feel like a small miracle—electric energy, resources leveraged, and yes, sometimes prayers answered.

How you can be part of it

  • Current members: Plan to make your $100 quarterly contribution (via Grapevine or check).
  • Guests & prospective members: Come see how it works. Join on the spot if you’re ready—you can even vote that night.
  • Everyone: Celebrate eight years of generosity, grit, and community—and help set the stage for the next eight.

Why it matters

Unrestricted funding gives local nonprofits the flexibility to serve, adapt, and grow. Your presence and your vote help direct resources where they’re needed most—right here in our community.

Join us. Bring a friend. Be part of the story.
Because when we show up together, we don’t just make a gift—we make a difference.
