Tidbits from VCWWC

January 5, 2025

Charlene’s Dream Cancer Hope and Healing Center expressed their heartfelt thanks in their 2024 Year-in-Review newsletter to VCWWC members. Your generosity allowed them to launch their “Look Good Feel Better Workshops,” empowering women undergoing chemotherapy to feel more confident and beautiful.

In other news, our 4th Quarter 2019 recipient, God’s Bathhouse, faced a devastating setback when they lost one of their trucks in a fire. This truck, which took extensive time to retrofit and served countless individuals in need, was central to their mission. Despite the loss, Elizabeth and Elgia Glass remain committed to providing showers and dignity to those without housing. They ask for our prayers and support as they continue serving the homeless community.

VCWWC’s continued growth and outreach depend on the support of our members and Community Partners. Members are encouraged to make a minimum $20 annual contribution or $120 to be recognized as a Sustaining Member. Contributions can be made at quarterly meetings or mailed to:
VCWWC, PO Box 731994, Ormond Beach, FL 32173.

Charity Nominations for the 1st Quarter Meeting on February 13, 2025, are now open! Members can submit nominations by visiting VCWWC.org, clicking the nominations button, and completing the application form.

Finally, we would like to thank and recognize The Root Family Foundation for sponsoring the opening reception and tour of the 2025 Cultuvue Exhibit during our February 13 meeting. A special thank you also goes to Daytona Toyota and Deland Kia, our 2025 Presenting Sponsors for all quarterly meetings.

Thank you for your continued support and dedication to making an impact in our community!
