What an exciting and amazing experience it was to attend the 2024 Women in Business Luncheon as one of the 40 honorees! I am proud to share this honor of being one of the 40 women and being named the Public Sector Women of the Year, with our over 300 dedicated VCWWC members who actively engage, get involved, and commit to growing our collective impact, making a real difference for the many local nonprofits we support.

I’m thrilled to congratulate several members who were also recognized, including Brejoya Smarr, Brianne Murphy, Carrie Torres, Cindi Flanagan, Cynthia Fite, Eveline Kraljic, Gina Elmazi, Kandice Schromm, and Krista Goodrich (I hope I haven’t missed anyone!).

A special congratulations to Carrie Torres, the incredible founder of Provision Packs, on winning the 2024 Woman of the Year award! Thank you all for your unwavering dedication to making our community the best it can be.
