Celebrating Seven Years of Impact at the VCWWC 4th Quarter Meeting

November 15, 2024
LaToya Carey, Cultuvue

Volusia County Women Who Care (VCWWC) members and guests gathered at the Halifax River Yacht Club for a memorable evening celebrating the 4th Quarter meeting and VCWWC’s 7th Anniversary. Adding to the excitement was the presence of special guest Ms. Florida 2024, Casana Fink, whose inspiring energy set the tone for the event.

Spotlight on Community Excellence

The evening featured presentations from three extraordinary programs that embody the spirit of community enrichment:

  • Barberville Pioneer Settlement for the Creative Arts, presented by Christen Gandy
  • SMA Healthcare Foundation, represented by Cynthia Fite
  • Cultuvue, presented by Latoya Carey

These organizations showcased their impactful work, leaving attendees with a renewed sense of admiration and gratitude for the resources they bring to our community.

And the Recipient Is…

After thoughtful consideration and voting, Cultuvue was selected to receive this quarter’s collective contribution. Thanks to the generosity of our members and the Community Partner Impact Fund, SMA Healthcare Foundation and Barberville Pioneer Settlement will also receive $1,000 grants to support their ongoing efforts.
