Volunteer Opportunity: Council on Aging

Brief Description (1–2 sentences): We are looking for students to volunteer to spend time with our senior clients, helping them feel welcome, valued, and like they truly belong at our nutrition and senior centers across Volusia County.

Who (age/skills/requirements): 16 and up with outgoing personalities who enjoy interacting with others.

When (date(s) or ongoing; time windows):  We can offer 1 time or ongoing opportunities Monday – Friday from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. (NOTE: for any student to engage in an ongoing volunteer opportunity, a Level 1 background check is mandatory; training is provided for all opportunities)
