Governing Board – Overview

The VCWWC Board of Governors stewards the mission, strategy, and integrity of the organization. The Board ensures our giving model remains member-driven, transparent, and impactful for nonprofits serving Volusia County.

If you are interested in serving on the VCWWC Governing Board, please complete and submit the Governing Board Application located under the Governing Board tab at VCWWC.org.


Board Committees

Note: You do not need to serve on the Governing Board to join a committee—volunteers are always welcome.

  • Membership – Welcoming, engagement, and retention
  • Quarterly Meetings & Events – Planning, logistics, and volunteer coordination
  • Development & Sponsorships – Fundraising, partnerships, and endowment support
  • Communications & Media – Messaging, branding, and nonprofit partner promotion

NONPROFIT NOMINATION FORM

Volusa County Women Who Care (VCWWC) Members ONLY. As a VCWWC member, you have a special privilege: the chance to nominate charities. To do so, you need to have donated in the previous quarter and be present and prepared to precent at the quarterly meeting if your charity is chosen. This ensures that our active members are involved in selecting and presenting charities, keeping our community engagement strong.
