No Fooling—Let’s Keep the Momentum Going!
Happy April Fools’ Day! 🎉
While tomorrow is known for tricks and jokes, there’s nothing silly about the impact we’re making together. Volusia County Women Who Care is charging into the second quarter with purpose, energy, and so many ways for members to engage and make a difference.
Here are 5 Meaningful Actions You Can Take Today to keep the momentum going:
1. Nominate a Charity for Q2
Our next quarterly meeting is coming up on May 8, and we’re currently accepting nominations! Do you know a local nonprofit doing amazing work? Submit your nomination today and give them a chance to receive a grant powered by collective giving.
2. Join Us for the Q1 Check Presentation – April 3 at 3 PM
You’re invited to help us celebrate three outstanding organizations:
📍 900 Ridgewood Ave
We’ll be presenting:
- A major grant to 1 Ohana 1 Community (over $31,000!)
- $1,000 gifts to The Hub on Canal and Volusia Free Clinic from our Community Partner Impact Fund
Come feel the power of giving in action!
3. Make Your First Quarter Contribution
Haven’t donated for Q1 yet? No problem—there’s still time to be part of this impact. Make your contribution today and be counted among the changemakers.
4. Share Your Events for the VCWWC Community Calendar
Have a volunteer opportunity, fundraiser, or community event coming up? Submit it to vcwomenwhocare@gmail.com the VCWWC Community Calendar and help us stay connected and involved throughout the county!
5. Tell Us Why You’re a Member
We’d love to share your voice. Send us a short quote about why you’re a member of VCWWC and what it means to you. Teresa@vcwwc.org Your story might inspire someone else to get involved—because every time you share, invite, or encourage, you multiply our collective impact.
Together, We Are Making a Difference
Thank you for all the ways you show up, support, and give. This is what collective philanthropy looks like—and it’s working.
Wishing you a joyful, impactful April! 💛
